AOF Management is now an activist investor in Cinedigm with a 5.2% stake. The fund joins a beaten down stock that has a couple of other activist investors involved, Sabra Capital and Ronald Chez.
AOF, standing for Active Owners Fund, considers itself an event-driven fund with a focus on small caps. They tout their "extensive" private equity experience.
AOF plans: "The Reporting Persons have either recently engaged, or may engage, in discussions with other stockholders, investment funds and members of the investment community, including analysts, bankers and private equity firms, regarding value-enhancing opportunities at the Issuer."
