Warren Buffett stomped on the idea that Kraft-Heinz would buy the recent Bill Ackman target, Mondelez [our initial Ackman-MDLZ thoughts here]. Noting, Kraft-Heinz buying anything in the near-term was unlikely and a Mondelez price tag was a steep hurdle.

Did anyone really think that Kraft was going to buy Mondelez the day after Ackman’s stake?
The natural thought is that Ackman wants to get back in bed with 3G Capital, which would mean a merger with Kraft-Heinz. However, is creating a foods platform company to rival Kraft-Heinz out of the question. Could Mondelez become a serial acquirer?
