Jeff Ubben Support For Board Seat

ValueAct Capital is getting more adamant about its board seat at Rolls-Royce.

It owns 10% of the airline engine company. It has some support, with a notable Rolls’ investor saying that ValueAct should have a board seat as it’s “...more serious that some activist investors, but their interest is mainly in extracting what the name would imply: value.”

As well, "Rolls is one of the few remaining serious British industrial companies, and one would hope it had a future beyond producing cash flow for the next few years. In the long run, we want the business to be re-invested in."
